Annual Billing Office Survey

The annual survey offers insights to assist faculty physician groups in determining how to best manage and allocate resources for professional fee billing and identify opportunities to improve billing and collection performance. Key performance indicators include Days in AR, NCR, denials and collections management, cost per claim.

Participants receive individualized reports displaying performance against the national benchmark and five-year trend. The survey also produces overall organizational rankings and at the KPI level.

Also offered within the report is a progressive trend analysis of billing system performance and adoption detailing KPI comparisons between organizations on Epic vs. GE. The results should be of interest to those members who are in preliminary discussions, in the midst of conversion, or have recently completed a billing system transition.
